Watching the news with my mom yesterday, the program went to commercial beginning with a breaking news bulletin that began with the Voice Over:
"Breaking News: U. S. Officials have named this city the murder capitol of the world. --"
"COME IN TO SUBWAY TODAY AND TRY OUR NEW..."
The bulletin was cut off by a commercial for Subway, and my mom and I were left gaping at the TV wondering if Subway was really such a dangerous place.
